Attention ladies! - Steep hill to the castle entrance. Flat shoes recommended for a quick change from heels! 👠➡️🩴
We will arrange shuttle transportation to and from the venue. Shuttles will pick you up directly from your accommodation in Bled and return you after the wedding.
Although the castle is walking distance from Bled town centre, we don’t recommend walking—it’s located on a steep cliff and the path can be demanding.
Shuttle pick-up times will be shared with you closer to the date. Return shuttles will run from 00:30 to 02:30 (possibly later if the party goes on!).
There is a parking lot at the castle, but please let us know in advance if you plan to drive. Parking is €3/hour, payable at the machine or via EasyPark.

Hotel Astoria offers the most reasonable price of all the hotels and only 15 rooms are available through the below link (only available until mid-April). Additionally, we've included a general option via Booking.com for more flexibility.
We know it’s a long trip for some of you, and having you with us to celebrate means the most to us. That alone is more than enough! But if you’d like to give a little something, we’d appreciate contributions towards a trip we’re planning after the wedding (are we still allowed to call it a honeymoon? 😄). Since we’ll be traveling back to the UK, carrying gifts can be tricky, so we kindly ask for no physical items.
